If you are using Integromat instead of Zapier, you are still able to connect services to Evergenius.
For the purposes of Evergenius, we can divide the two actions between a trigger (left) and an action (right).
Each trigger service is different, but the principles remain the same: connecting it, generating a sample dataset, etc. What remains the same is the action, which is what actually pushes the data into Evergenius.
This guide assumes some basic familiarity with Integromat and setting up the first part of the scenario (the trigger on the left). This guide also assumes that the task of generating sample data to be used has been completed.
1. Select 'Add another module' and search for HTTP. Select it and then click on 'Make a request'.
2. Check 'Show advanced settings' and fill in the data as follows.
Body type: Multipart/form-data
Headers: Select 'Add a header', fill in name with 'app-key' (no quotes) and value with 846a06e4-14f6-4c42-ace2-af07046ed798
Leave all other information blank.
3. Once this data is filled in, you can now fill in the data fields using the sample data you created.
Locate the Fields bar and select 'Add item', then select 'Text' in the drop-down menu.
4. Each field consists of a key-value pair. This means you have an unchanging key that tells Evergenius what data goes where in the software, and a value, which changes which each data submission (for example, different names and entries from a single survey form). Therefore, the key is made up of values that Evergenius will recognise. Click here for a list of values supported by Evergenius you can use in the key field.
Fill in the fields with as much data as you want. For example, if this form we are setting up includes a first name, we can fill in the key with 'first_name' and then select the matching data set. Click 'Add' when complete. Repeat this with all the data you that you want to send to Evergenius.
The values highlighted in red mean they are variable - in other words, they change with every data submission. The key field should stay the same.
Once you have completed this, you must now assign the correct company name in Evergenius to your scenario. Create a new item in the fields and fill in key with 'company_name', and the value with the name of your Evergenius account. It must match, character for character, or else it will not show up in your Evergenius account!
It is highly recommended that you also add a source to be able to filter leads. You can do this by entering 'source' in the key field and anything you want in the value field - it does not need to be an existing source name and you can add a new one within the field if you like - Evergenius will simply create it as a new source on the fly when the lead comes in.
Once this is all complete, you can turn on the scenario and all leads will show up in Evergenius from now on. You may also configure the scenario further, for example to activate at certain intervals and other settings.
If you have any questions or trouble setting the scenario up, contact Evergenius support for assistance.
